Not to be mean, but what the hell is this? Barzal is so much more valuable then Nylander, that this makes Leafs fans look so desperate and sad.

This wouldn't be the move for them, they are likely looking to move Nelson or Pageau. It's s possible thyy trade for Nylander if the Leafs are looking to take futures but it would be to play with Barzal.

I think they will just sign Tarasenko if they can. There's also a chance that they get no one since getting a scoring winger was something they needed to do over two years ago.


If the Leafs got Barzal, it wouldn't be to play him 3C, usually you want a strong faceoffman there, it would be to play him 2C and Tavares on his wing probably or he just takes Nylander's spot on the wing.
