marner is a better skater, better spacing & gap control, better stickwork, better passer, better at literally everything than morgan rielly. its not even innovative its just damage control. mo can play his game better on the wing and hurt the team less.

Don’t they already play Marner at RD in some situations?

I know he had some shifts there against the Devils this past season.

Why waste your time putting this together,
Rielly was the Leafs best D in playoffs. Marner is too soft and small to play D in any other situation than on a PP.

why waste your time telling me that rielly was ever the leafs best anything. marner is one inch shorter than rielly and if you really wanted him to go out there and slash and punch guys im sure he could get that done.

Canes decline. I like Brodie, but a late 1st for a guy that was joint 3rd for goals by defensemen this season AND you want him retained? This needs a lot more.
