I think that's a decent trade for Peeke, or at least close enough to his value that I would take it.

For alternate options to next years 2nd rounder and more on the "help now" side of things would you be open to Peeke for the signing rights to Ryan McLeod? What are the chances that it could be this years 2nd rounder if the Jackets kick in a mid/late round pick as well?

Ducks would much rather trade for Peeke than Kulak unless you reduce the cost for Kulak by a decent amount. The Pens are basically willing to give us Rutta for next to nothing and the same with Boston and Forbort.

Yeah, this is true, McLeod took way below value on his recent bridge contract too, he deserves to get paid at some point and if he decides it’s more than 2M Oilers probably can’t afford it and will shop the rights around.

Both McLeod brothers are potentially undervalued right now
