Sabres won't have more than 1 opening at forward and I can't see them favoring a trade for Yamamoto when they have better, more talented prospects in Kulich and Savoie coming.

I know but instead of adding another forward for offense, at least it will be offense generated from the back-end, and would probably give the ability to play some of their defenders in roles that better suite them.

I know Konencny is a tenacious player and all, probably built for playoff hockey but they don't need more top 6 forwards imo.
