Ok - I disagree with getting hosed. Figure CBJ now is pretty set at defense for awhile and Blues will be looking for your dmen but all good.

Wouldn't say hosed either, but the Jackets pretty clearly have a plan at the moment to be using Mateychuk in the future. Unless Provorov is extended next year then I don't see a scenario where Mateychuk is labeled as expendable.

Rosen and the 1st might be of interest to Tampa in a deal for Colton. Tampa wouldn't add Thompson to the deal though, and they probably wouldn't want Walker either.

It's not a bad offer for Colton, should Tampa decide to move him. It would greatly depend on how Brisebois feels about Thompson, as I think Tampa feels good about his chances of contributing to the big club sooner rather than later. I believe it would also depend on if Tampa had a plan to flip the pick, as while the 29th pick in this draft is good, I still doubt Tampa gets a player that can help this season or next.
