Description

in all honesty this should be a fire sale. word is laughton is highly coveted around the league and should fetch a later 1st or future 1st. hayes days seem numbered but the flyers will have to retain to make that happen. trading hart/tk together while taking murrays $ would return an absolute haul. 2 firsts robertson and a young puck moving rhd would be soild imo, robertson has been unlucky with injuries but still has a high ceiling, i would prefer knies but after his playoff performance i dont see tor parting with him. i like barbashev, someones gotta get minutes on this team, when the teams competitive again hell be 30/31 on 4.2 a year thats solid. all other signings can be flipped at deadline, bunting is just a old school flyers signing. bring back simmer for a year for his retirement season. with 4 picks in the first there are plenty of options to move up or stand pat in a deep draft. this team will be bad but it needs to be this season, even tho its a year late and chuckles screwed them out of a decent shot at bedard with the "aggressive retool"

I think you can get more out the Toronto deal as you are taking Murray off their hands. I would say a second could be added or another prospect.

Toronto doesn't do the deal as is. They don't need a goalie and aren't spending all that on a winger. They'll buy Murray out before giving up a first for him, no matter what fantasy you believe.

The Leafs are not at all desperate, so don't make them out to be. And if these highly-coveted Flyers players are so great and worth so much... why have the Flyers been so bad?
