I still think the retention is too much. Making TK a PPG player at $3.5M is kinda ridiculous lol. I know Bourg and Broberg are good prospects but like if we are retaining $2M on TK the deal has to be around Holloway.

Definitely agree, Broberg would be a great piece to add but the more I think about it the less he makes sense. Sanheim was just signed for 8 years and I doubt he'll be easy to move, York, Andre. Zamula, are all right there as well and sure he'd fill in one of the Andre/Zamula spots or play on the right but Holloway is the better fit IMO.

Broberg and a 1st are a nice basis, but PHI is pretty deep at LD and just got Grans at RD, but Yamamoto, an undersized/underperforming 3mil RFA at RW has little to no value to PHI who already have Foerster and Brink at RW behind Koneckny, Atkinson, Tippett, Farabee, so he has probably no value to PHI.

And as others have said theres not enough in that deal, let alone PHI retaining.

I get that for sure, i just feel if we're ok with 1.5mm, an extra .5 is only another million in total. To get a higher rated prospect, i think that's worth it.

I also doubt any retention will be a part of the TK deal, i think his value in GM circles in the NHL are higher than ACGM's here. People pew pew him too much
