Cap won’t be 90 for 24-25. Nikishin isn’t available until end of the season.
The offense is worse than this year’s team that you want to improve on
I thought Necas wasn’t getting paid by the Canes?

As good value as Pesce has been for the Canes....signing him for six years starting when he almost 30 years can turn bad quickly.

Garland should return more than that and you’re gonna have to double the years on barbashev if you want him

He should, but I don't think he will.
    Feel the Canucks would accept.

Canes don’t even consider that first trade. The other 2 are whatever. And now you have made the Canes miss the playoffs.

Cap is reported to jump anywhere from 5-10 million in 2024. Hence why I picked 7. You think you know everything, but you really don’t. I’m sure your source in the league office is very reliable though

That is a false report. The cap is supposed to go up 10-12 million over the next 3 years. In fact the CBA doesn’t allow the cap to go up more than 5 percent in one year. Any amount over 5% has to be agreed upon by the NHLPA and owners. Fat chance those two come together and agree to anything

Listen to 32 thoughts the pod. Friedman and Marek have pondered over anywhere from 5-10. Chris Johnston just posted an article where he says it’s likely to go up 5. You go do your own research because you’ve clearly done nothing but scroll capfriendly for your entire life

pondering isnt an actual rumor that it will happen. you are as bad as the canadian market fans listening to it, hoping that it goes up that much to save their cap issues. They are just throwing ideas out there and seeing how it effects the league. I guess any banter is now a truth.

83.5 x 0.5 is 4.175 million. that is close to 5 million. So lets not go off the rails here because he is rounding up. The players are going to have to take a higher chunk of the escrow for the cap to go up more than 1 million this year or more than 5% over the next 2.

Escrow will be paid off in the middle of next season where it’s currently at, per Friedman again. And if you look above, this team has 3 mil in cap space at 90 mil. So your 4.1 whatever decimal BS you wanna pull out of your ass still fits. So who really cares???? This team would be under the cap

but not with a 87.5 million cap and actually trying to improve the team. Which you failed to do big time and then troll me for not doing.

    Also… 90-3= 87… so 87 is definitely less than 87.5…
