I like the way you think sir.

I really don't want a Goalie to be our best player again though.

Interesting offer for Askarov, but I assume he is the heir to Saros, who is only 28. That package could probably get him?

Man, I'm really going to miss Askarov - treat him well, Habs fans!

Would you still do it if Montreal adds Primeau and you add L'Heureux? Or another interesting prospect?

If Montreal wanted Askarov for the 5OA i’m doing it in a heartbeat.

But, apparently the Habs have been trying hard to trade up. Looks like Askarov is staying in Nashville (thankfully)

Unlikely, but I’d take the proposed trade

I think the value is pretty fair, as is. That tilts the value too far in MTL's direction. L'Heureux's a non-starter for me. If MTL wanted a Campbell, Knak, Haider level prospect for Primeau, I'd still accept though.

Apparently the Hbas have been trying hard to trade up ?

A random Montreal journalist with zero intel said MTL made call to trade up ...
Duh, Kent Hughes is the GM, of course he would make at least one call to each team to know if they are welling to trade down

Not enough for Boqvist. Maybe next year if Jiricek and step up this year but right now that offer is way too low

I like the idea but I would only do this if I knew smith was there. Trading up to draft another wingers and getting rid of your top prospects goalie to do that wouldn’t be smart
