So you would give up Bedard for 20 late round picks?

For context, Bedard has a 99% star probability and 99% NHL probablility

A 6th round pick has an NHLer% of 13.7% and Star% of 1.2%
A 7th round pick has an NHLer% of 10.2% and Star probability of 0.9%

There’s a 1% chance Bedard isn’t a star, but a much higher percentage that none of those 20 picks are stars.

Habs ended up drafting Svoboda, Corson, Richer and Roy that year (and Sid’s dad lol). I don’t think either team is complaining about it not going through.

Yeah probably upset it didn't go through but it ended up working out for Montreal.
