This is several times now I have seen proposals where the Hawks are paying to get Ceci from the Oilers; the Hawks have no need for Ceci, so if Edmonton wants to dump him on Chicago they better be prepared to pay to do so. Adding Yamamoto only increases the price.

He hasn’t been a positive with the Oilers and a better lineup, not sure how that changes in Chicago.

I kind of got the impression that Winnipeg wants prospects/players over picks, I considered adding another prospect but did the second instead.

I don't know, he had 25 points in 58 games which isn't too far below his 40 point pace from last year. Maybe I'm overvaluing both of them, I see Ceci as a fine number 4-5 d man

They probably want young roster or close to roster players with lots of team control. Broberg doesn't work as he's an LHD and the Jets have too many as it is and the remainder of the offer just falls far short of being competitive. Especially when you are trying to move $20 mil of dead cap in Campbell.

Grasping at straws here I had 500k in cap space and basically no picks to try getting one fourth liner. Doesn't hurt that Kenny and Pat are friends though

I think they'd buy out Campbell before they'd give up too much to dump him, as the buyout isn't too bad. Although the price I put is likely a little too low
