word is hayes has played his last game in philly and torts wants nothing to do with him and the most likely destination being CBJ, for any sort of return the flyers will have to retain and should have no problem doing that while rebuilding. and hayes on a mid 4mil aav is decent for a 2c when hes trying and not pouting.

jesse p was a disaster last season and needs change of scenery, dont think car is intersted in bringing him back trade a laste pick for rights after acquiring other more premium picks, if improved with more minutes he becomes dealable at deadline on cheap deal.

bring simmonds back for the fans/farewell tour

COL having space with landeskog on LTIR is interesting, prob looking for more C help but i wouldnt be surprised if they were in the convo for TK, add seeler for cheap blue line depth who can play both sides. newhook may be untouchable but thats the main piece id want if im briere.

liljegren/rob/1st for hart, murray/1st for laughton seems reasonable if reported beginning ask for hart is 2 1sts is true. then buyout murray for ersson to play and tandem with cal

get TDA tf out of here for attard/grans to get minutes, such an awful move by chuckles to even bring him here and sign him to that deal let alone give up early round picks for him

I actually like a lot of these moves from a flyers standpoint. The only one I cannot see happening is Puljujarvi, just because he and Torts are a nightmare pairing, which sucks to say because the idea of buying into his talent for cheap is a fun idea. But overall, we keep trying to get rid of guys that don't fit that Torts mold, so I cant see us acquiring a guy that doesn't fit.

Which is fine, most on here know Danny is seeking a prospect and 1st for Laughton. Roni Hirvonen could be a decent replacement.

I think Avs fans on here are a little iffy when Newhook is included in a trade, including myself, but this is actually a great trade for the Avs. I think that first would actually be in ‘24, but Konecny is 26 and was a PPG player last year and has 2 years of contract left, perfect for the next cap rise.

Philly is better to keep DAngelo at TDL (w 50%) get some picks. Dont see AZ taking him (they had rookie year and traded) just to TDL for another mid round pick they have too many now.

Hart to TO deal is dead already unless TO buys out matt Murray; they talked about ti on Sportsnet. Philly can't take Murray when they just traded for Petterson from the kings.

Fellow leafs fans - I think I’ve figured out why flyers fans keep trying to rob us blind for two average players - hart & Laughton. Not worth half of this package 😂. Like fans of all non playoff teams - off season is their playoffs. So keep on dreaming flyers fans; might be nice if you posted some ridiculous trades to other teams too though

This might work for Columbus on a Hayes deal, since they'll need to unload salary elsewhere (like Peeke or Roslovic) to absorb Hayes, even with $2.5M retained. This is one that probably wouldn't make me throw up in my mouth.

No matter as the trade wouldn't happen anyway. Value aside, the Avs can't afford to be trading Newhook & the '23 1st with no 2C in play.

I agree they would need to figure out 2C before making a move like this but if they are adding Seeler in this trade that suggests to me that they would move Girard in a separate deal. If they can get a 2C for Girard then I would be ok with this as a follow up trade
