Carolina rejects Petry trade. Pittsburgh rejects Gibson trade. Montreal rejects Carter trade. Carter rejects Montreal trade. So only four rejections in three trades.

Suzuki will never be anything.

And I see Blomqvist maxing out as a fringe nhler.
(Plus we already have Dostal)
So it’s basically a B-/C+ prospect and a future second for a top 10 goalie.

Yeah Ducks don’t do that.

Suzuki is past his point of blossoming and Blomqvist would be at max, a bottom 6 forward.

Ducks aren’t trading Gibson for a 2nd and two nobodies

Petry is better than Dumba. No reason to retain on Petry and then sign Dumba - making the total cost more than just keeping Petry.

I get what you're going for based on the description - but I don't think there's enough firepower here to make up for the 8 goals they're going to give up per game.

Petry can only reject 15 teams if im not mistaken so he might not have a choice if the pens decide to move on
