Description
Ideally you get Bouchard signed for longer than a year but if you can make this year worth it with signicant upgrades it will be worth it. Worst case scenario the cap goes up significantly next year and resign him while still having money set aside for 29 and 97 upcoming contracts. If he prices himself out of Edmonton then hopefully we can recoup picks and sign Barrie again for league minimum as our PP specialist.

These are best case scenario trades and can almost guarantee we’ll be outbid but it’s the only we could afford it.

Finally an Oilers fan makes an offer for TK that not only isn't total junk but is close. Make it a 2023 2nd and it works, especially since you want 2 million retained.

Carolina rejects. I've seen over a dozen Oiler trades for Pesce and not one is realistic IMO. It will cost at least what Chychrun went for. A 1st and two seconds. Carolina probably wants a top 6 winger like Hopkins or Hyman.

I have said it before and I will say it again, I don’t see the Hawks trading anything for Yamamoto. If the Oilers want to attach a pick to him, Davidson might bite.

Upgrade the 2nd to 2023 2nd or remove/lessen the retention and I'd say the Flyers would make the deal.
