i don’t think i would trade for a player i gave up a 1st and an upcoming OFD if i thought he had negative value, i’m simply implying a 30 year old who has declined a little bit over the years and is signed for 7 more years isn’t worth the two 1sts + a top prospect that you’re implying. i already stated the retention would be third partied, parayko fits a need for the leafs and the blues should be happy to get out from under the contract. it’s worth the gamble for toronto considering these next 3 years are all go for it years.
