I think this is under the pretense that you're guaranteed a Jason Robertson type of draft pick with one of those two 2nds.

To be fair, the Canes have done that before. Aho was a 2nd rounder, Slavin was a 4th rounder 11 years ago, Pesce was a 3rd rounder, so they *could*. Still, it's not close

Leafs don’t do this either. Not as bad as other trades but still…no chance. Murray buyout very likely if the cost to move him is this high (which I don’t think it will be)
