Travis Konecny
Scenario #1
To DET: Travis Konecny
To PHI: Filip Zadina, 17th overall, 44th overall
Scenario #2
To EDM: Travis Konecny
To PHI: Kailer Yamamoto, Philip Broberg, 56th overall, 2024 1st round pick (EDM) [top-10 protected, slides to 2025 unprotected]
Both trades are of pretty similar value to me, but I ultimately think DET has the better package. I do think the connection to DeBrincat is probably an indicator that TK is on the back-burner and think EDM emerges as a stronger suitor. Yamamoto is in there to balance the cap and is pure upside for the Flyers. Broberg can hopefully fill out the defense and the picks are value to any rebuilding team
Kevin Hayes
Scenario #1
To DAL: Kevin Hayes (50% retained)
To PHI: Ayrton Martino, 2024 3rd round pick (DAL)
Scenario #2
To COL: Kevin Hayes (50% retained)
To PHI: Colby Ambrosio, 2024 4th round pick (COL)
Scenario #3
To MIN: Kevin Hayes (50% retained)
To PHI: Jack Peart
Hard trade to properly model since the market for Hayes is probably going to depend on how the draft shakes down and who is left available once the dust settles. Not really holding my breath for a spectacular return for Hayes considering PHI will need to retain to make him attractive and teams are aware of his fallout with the coaching staff. The Dallas and Minnesota trades would be the most ideal for me, but think DAL might be a better fit for them.
Scott Laughton
Scenario #1
To TOR: Scott Laughton
To PHI: Nicholas Robertson, 28th overall
Scenario #2
To OTT: Scott Laughton
To PHI: Roby Jarventie, 2024 1st round pick (OTT)
Think there are plenty of other scenarios in which Laughton makes sense for contending teams, but think these two teams might have the strongest interest / fit. Reports from PHI beats have said the Flyers turned down Laughton offers for late 1st round picks. Ultimately, I think the Flyers keep Laughton and have him lead the cultural change and be a leader in the locker room of young players.
Travis Sanheim
Scenario #1
To VAN: Travis Sanheim, Tanner Laczynski, 22nd overall
To PHI: Conor Garland, Tyler Myers, 11th overall
Not sure where he could fit in to a team's long-term outlook, but moving him before the NTC kicks in would be great. If VAN is serious about getting into the playoffs, think they'd be willing to move 11th overall. There are probably some better trades out there but reports that Garland would have to be included with assets makes this more reasonable. VAN gets 4.7M in space and moves back 10 spots to add a second pair defensemen.
Tony DeAngelo
Scenario #1
To FLA: Tony DeAngelo (50% retained)
To PHI: 2024 5th round pick (PHI), 2025 4th round pick (FLA)
With Montour and Ekblad going to be out for an extended time, FLA needs some RHD. DeAngelo is still a good player for facilitating offense, just doesn't fit PHI's trajectory. Sunk cost to move him for this return but still a cheap price for FLA with their contention window still open.
Any expiring contracts can be traded at the TDL for picks / pick upgrades.
Steve basically said he's keeping his picks and drafting and developing. I recapped below, check it out. It's unfortunate a little cause I'd love TK for that price.
I can't see the Avs turning this offer down. I am an Ambrosio fan so I would dislike to see him go but it's part of the business.
*As always, I do not think Hayes is a fit* lol
The Vancouver one is probably something i'd be more intrigued about. Sacrificing a bad contract but for one more year, connor garland a nice middle six addition and moving up 11 spots?!?! Hell yeah i would take that.
Re: Hayes, you are one of the few here on CF to understand the personal dynamics of the team. As an Avs fan, I had no idea Torts didn't like Hayes, scratched him, and cut his minutes. You basically called the trade value, although thank Barry Trotz's Johansen deal for lowering it slightly, lol.

Torts also has an increased voice in personnel compared to when he had Chuck, so it makes sense to naturally get rid of players that don't fit his culture.
