Dude’s a 29 year old pending FA who we can’t possibly re-sign without letting Willy or Matty walk. But we trade equivalent of three year’s 1sts for rental? When our prospect cupboard is somewhat bare? And then you chirp the leafs because someone pointed the illogic of the move? How about you make the playoffs before you start chirping 😂? Could be a few more years though

If teams didn't play guys that did something stupid during a game, 25% of the league wouldn't be playing. How many guys got suspended this year for dirty plays (which is exactly what Veleno did, I see that during men's league games pretty often)? From all levels too (stars, scrubs, and in between).

I’m in rinks all the time too (probably a lot of us are) and I never see stomping on someone with your skate. That is next level dirty; didn’t think he was like that (at least I never heard he was dirty) but that sh$t os downright crazy. Lucky no one was badly hurt
