he probably meant to do the 17ovr, which is a little bit more reasonable. Wings are super frugal tho so idk. I could see them trying to get him if Konecny falls apart.

Yzerman isn't moving any 1st round picks for one year rentals, He already said at his presser that he's looking at young core long term players in the 21 to 27 year old range. And Toffoli is 31. Have to think Debrincat, Konecny, Keller or Connor would be his target for wingers.

Trading a 1st for a rental makes no sense for Detroit really, especially a 31 year old winger.

Can't say it isn't roughly his value though. Detroit has a fairly frugal fanbase. I know they will have better options to check in on, but assuming they go the Toffoli route, I'd imagine the price would look something like that... rentals go for firsts all the time.
