Really tough call here, but the idea is for the Wild to become more offensively oriented, but with their cap situation they must subtract to add, so they move out Brodin and resign Klingberg instead

Blues decline. Toro was great for us in his first full year. 19 points playing mostly on the 3rd/4th line and he will be cheap. We have no reason to trade him barring an overpayment

Even a 1st might not be enough to get CHI to commit to 5 x $6m. That's...a lot of contract.

But I bet CHI would at least consider this, since Brodin can actually play.

And certainly not to a rival we have to face numerous times each year.

If Brodin is willing to waive for Chicago, Hawks probably accept. Not everyday a team gets a 1st to take a top 4 guy on a decent contract.

Stick to the Jets... why would MIN ever trade their best defensive defence man and attach a first to him?

Amazing that you can tell when an OP is not a Wild fan without even looking.

A 1st to “dump” Brodin is crazy

My thoughts exactly, Hawksguy81. I doubt MIN even considers such a trade, though.... Brodin is far from a cap dump, IMO!

Because they can't score and they have no cap space to add someone who does
