You don't get 2nd+ for salary dumps. You give up a 2nd+

Yet again San Jose doesn’t need more LD and certainly not paying that for a dump

Pens decline. You have the picks going the wrong way. Y’all are the cap strapped team looking to offload the 6 million per year player only giving .5ppg seasons. You can either pay to offload him or keep him and deal with the cap repercussions

I assume the offloading Hall will be cheap for another team, because it will correspond with Bertuzzi resigning. I don’t believe they will need to pay any picks to get off of him. I’ll also remind you that this free agency class kind of sucks, so there should be an interest in short term non overpays.

It may suck but you can still get just as good, if not better for cheaper on the market and not give up picks. You also have the fact that a lot of teams a pretty cap strapped. Especially the teams shall would waive to.

All these fans from other teams saying u have to pay to dump Hall. BOS could easily shed money elsewhere and keep the top 6 LW. Everyone acting like Halls some nobody who makes 6mill to sit on the bench

Ik typically everyone hates Boston and nobody wants to "help them out" but its just dumb thinking BOS has to give up pretty valuable assets to dump Taylor Hall

Ok so Hall just got traded for nothing lol. It was dumb to think anyone would give up valuable assets to obtain Hall considering the year he just had and Boston’s cap situation.

Ok so it was dumb to just quote something I said without even reading it. I said BOS couldve shed cap elsewhere and kept Hall in the top 6. And even if they DID trade Hall they wouldnt have to give up valuable assets to "dump" him, which unless u think pending UFA Nick Foligno is some superstar, they didnt

I did read your comment. And I replied to it accordingly. You thought it was dumb that Boston would have to pay to dump Hall and everyone else thought it was dumb to think Hall could net anything decent, much less a 2nd plus.

We didn’t have to give up anything to offload his contract and got a couple young defensemen. I think it’s a great trade for both sides
