Colorado isn't trading Girard for two RFA rights, one of which the Canucks are going to let walk anyway. Canucks don't need another undersized offensive-minded LHD.

Canucks aren't trading Garland for Mantha and getting Kuznetsov, the entire point of moving Garland was to clear cap space, not get more of it. Capitals are going to have to pay to move Kuznetsov if the rumors are true.

It would cost more for the Sabres to move up from 13 to 11. In 2019 the Flyers traded picks 14 and 45 to move up to pick 11. I think it would be reasonable to ask the same from Buffalo given they're at PIck 13.

What rumors? If Hall with 2x6M remaining coming off a 36 point season didn't cost anything for the Bruins to dump when they're absolutely over a barrel in regards to the cap, I don't see how Kuznetsov with 2x7.8M remaining coming off a 55 point season is a negative value.

Didn't make it up, heard it on the radio that it was a rumour out of Washington. Just because it's a rumor doesn't make it true, but it can affect the value of a player. Hence why I said, "if the rumors are true."

Also, Canucks don't need to trade Garland, they've resolved their cap crunch this season by buying out OEL.
