Major no from Columbus; if you want us to take on Murray's awful deal when we're already dealing with Elvis's, the price starts with multiple 1st-round picks.

You're trying to push him onto a team that has $4.7M left in cap space that is trying to acquire a top 6 center and has no history of taking on cap dumps under their current GM. Either you pay the price for disrupting their plans for this season or you do the reasonable thing and try to push him onto a team that's below the cap floor right now.

If you really look at it it's Marner, Lafferty, Holmberg, Niemela, 2024 1st rounder for Connor, Nino 2M retained and 2025 2nd rounder. Not a good deal for leafs nation.
