They're rushing to get things done before July 1st cause OS is easier for LAK ,MTL and many other teams
If WPG matches the OS they commit to no return as a 365 day no movement clause kicks in automatically to protect players from situations like PLD is about to experience.

LAK even with the cap they moved they got 9m with 4 D signed , 11 F and 1 G signed and Vlardi, Kupari, JAD,and Macewan unsigned.
If they take back Arvidson that means to pay PLD 8m they'd only have 5m to sign 3D and a Goalie letting all their forwards that are unsigned stay that way or trade them
That leaves 1,25-1.66m left to sign 2-3 D and a Goalie depending on if you want a 20 or 21 man roster or 840k each to get to the 23 man max
But PLD couldnt take a penny over 8m

Even if you add Iaffollo it doesnt give enough relief to be worth what you lost
Its likely this deal falls apart unless LAK does something foolish like give him 8/8m in signing bonus's each year guaranteed lockout proof money.

Farabee isnt even a 40 pts player but he is a 15-20 goal scorer
164lbs explains why as his height isnt a problem as he's 5 inches taller then Caufield and 10lbs lighter then one of the smallest players in the league.

its cause TK has way more value despite being shorter by 2 inches he's 10lbs heavier .
