Description
This is mainly to see how it goes with the cap for the avs, not suggestions on fair trades.
Looks really good, but no PP1 time for Hall and Pacioretty (unless injuries). Pacioretty might not want to sign because of that. Chi probably want to keep Hall and Cgy probably not selling until tdl.

Nope Hall is going to be Bedard's security blanket this year.

If Hall and Bedsy really do not mesh maybe we consider flipping him, but definitely not before the season. Next year at the deadline assuming the hawks have brought in some other decent players I am sure we would open to dealing him though.

I don't know if it's different owners but, wasn't Shattenkirk traded with an exec order to ditch him by midnight? Maybe it was Stewart though.

If there is an offer like that at the deadline (1st +) I would consider moving Hall this year. He is not going to gain value next deadline.

Gotta think the Hawks acquired Hall and Foligno was to give some veteran and some what good wingers for 1st year Berard.

Wow, didn't hear anything about that, just that everyone was bummed to lose Shattenkirk after such a good start on his rookie season!

Read it as "Bednar's security blanket" first. As in Bednar will play him in PP1 all year and trust him in all tough minutes.
But yeah, all of you are probably right, he will at least start the season in Chicago.

It would depend on what the “plus more” mentioned consists of. I’m Sure the idea is to get a former 1st overall to mentor the current 1st overall on & off the ice. But every trade piece has a price.
