    IDK, if I'm Timo, I'm holding out for more than Dubois got. I don't think there's an argument that Timo isn't a superior player to PLD.

    Caleb is competent and could be a useful 6/7 on a contender. He was in over his head on a bad team.

    I agree Timo should be paid more, but Centers do tend to get a bit more money so the Devils will try to use that in negotiation.

    This is what makes the Hughes contract so crucial. Don't even have to look at Dubois.

    Just have to ask Meier if he's better than Hughes. No? Then he can't make more.

    That is such a good deal. If the devils can really manage to keep their other guys under that number, it will be amazing for them!

    I'm saying why should Timo only look at the Hughes contract as a comp? PLD just got $8.5MM and Timo is better than him. What Jack Hughes is making is not Timo's problem.
