Description
Not really sure with the Free Agent signings. Looking for players who will be willing to sign on a 1 year deal, and the flyers can try to flip at the deadline. Don't look too much into the free agents, but more so interested in the trades. Unsure if my value is even in the right zip code. Interested to hear.

Flyers take Michkov at 7. Capitals lose interest in pick 8. Flyers only make the deal if one of Leonard/Reinbacher is also there. In this case Reinbacher. As I think the top 6 goes:

1. Bedard
2. Fantilli
3. Carlsson
4. Smith
5. Leonard
6. Dvorsky (read there is interest there).

I think this deal benefits the hawks way more than Philly. I'd love to see this trade happen, don't see Philly doing it though

Why do the panthers give up a better pick for the worst player.

Sanheim is signed to a big contract. But Hawks could use a LD bad, and with Bedard and an additional 1st, I could see them thinking pick 35 is expendable.

I know people want Sanheim to fetch a 1st, but no way it happens unless we take on a multi year bad contract in return. I think Philly would entertain it to get the Sanheim contract off the books and in a good draft class they probably feel good about value at pick 35.

I could see them being willing to move down to free up the 3 mil.

Dont need to. Have plenty of cap space. Plus he isn’t a cap dump.

The value in this deal certainly favors the Hawks, but with six left shot D in the pipeline the Hawks are really high on, including two 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder, they aren't taking on an 8 year deal on another LD. Especially a guy who's already 27 y.o. Hawks are not a good match in a trade for Sanheim.

Do you really think Duclair is a cap dump?
