I tried to make this list based on how the team performed based on their current situation as a club and the selections they made relative to what was available. A couple of teams were right on the edge between two tiers. Let me know if you agree/disagree with any

I think that Carolina and Columbus had the best draft classes overall

Kings didn't pick until the second and got a few players who were touted as second round talents, I don't know what more you would want them to do?

I was on the fence with them, they were probably the best team the "decent" tier I had.

My logic was I'm not in love with the Danielson pick and think they could've gotten a higher upside option with one of their 3 2nds, where instead they went more of a need route

As always, Carolina did a great job of getting value relative to where they were picking, but I wouldn't come close to saying they had the best class. Too many teams walked away with lots of truly great talent for them to be an ultimate winner IMO

I feel like Dvorsky was the higher ranked center by consensus. I was actually expecting them to pick Oliver Moore with #9 and was surprised they didn't even go for him at 17

Didn't love the Dvorak pick but I honestly forgot they took Ziemmer in the 3rd, would probably revise this to put them in decent

Don't know how that one slipped by me...

Rangers for sure Winners IMO, Perreault at 23 is great value and I think Fortescue was a nice pickup as well

I mean agree with that but they got what they came for... A few guys who have top-six potential

Idk, Ottawa didn't draft til the 4th round, and their first pick looks like a steal (relative to where he was picked obviously). I guess they're losers in the sense that they didn't come away with a whole lot, but I think they did fine with the picks they had.

Agreed on Moore, but you get what you pay for with consensus. A lot of rankings and mocks out there are done by the clueless and the biased. Danielson is a badass, and ASP slipped down almost as far as Moore. They were winners by me, even if maybe I wouldn't take the same two players.

I actually was thinking 1st round only (I'm traveling today, so my attention is spread out). And I do agree they didn't do enough with the trio of 2nds. That said, A LOT of people are going to eat their words on Danielson. Big time.
