    Very sensible trade for Helle. Would NJD want to keep Daws in case a Helle extension doesn't pan out?

    How about VV + Clarke + Vilen + *2024 1st (with SJS condition)?

    I don’t think the Sabres will spend a 3rd round pick on an AHL player.

    I could see the Wild making that trade at the TDL if they are out of playoff contention. I think it would also depend on what Boqvist's next contract is to make the money work.

    Yeah, its 2024 TDL so im looking at it as Foote gets a shot to start the season but NJ feels they want a more experienced NHL player at the deadline.

    Holtz is down because he is the only one who can go down and not have to clear waivers. They cant be over 23 roster players. Also think he starts season in NJ and is only moved down if he doesnt perform and they add vets and need to be under roster maximum.
