You should easily be able to get a first for Skjei retained.

I also have no idea how to handicap an EK trade. So much to it with the retention possibilities, weighing the risk of 4 more years, was last year a sign of things to continue coming or were the previous few years the real Ek and what we should expect?

That’s a much better package for EK than we can offer. Please I hope it happens so we avoid doing something truly stupid.

NSH passes. Trotz heavily implied he intends to keep both Saros and Askarov by stating he wants Askarov to learn from Saros in a similar way to Saros and Rinne in an interview earlier this week. Despite the moves, the team is likely looking at a window of true compete in a few years and that involves Askarov in goal.

True, he might be worth that now, but its still a massive risk. But Don's shown that hes more than willing to take risks so who knows.

True but they’re very calculated risks with outs included. 4 years with his injury history could be a risk too far. But they’re clearly working at the deal so maybe you’re right. At this point I’m just blindly trusting the brain trust.

retain half on EK and you got yourself a deal. there is no reason not to retain half. for a bottom dweller, every retention should be maximum, since you only have 3 slots to maximize the return.
