Sounds good, nice idea Daryl. What's your guys thoughts on the Radu situation in MTL? If they can't sign him, who will?

Someone will pay him, but I doubt he will get anywhere close to the term he wants. Personally, I would only go three years max with him with a cap hit around 5 to 6 million (TJ Oshie like cap hit) that is about the average of what 50 points cost in the league. What I think will happen is he will to get what Oshie got as they put up similar numbers and age.
That being said, having money burns a whole in GM's pockets they can't spend it fast enough. I want to know what the first contract that is signed that is going to make us think, "Well another lockout is going to be fun." My bet, even with how bad he played in the playoffs, Kevin Shattenkirk is going to get some big dollars.

There's Alzner as well. He seemed like the only get out there, but he's probably going to get paid to much because of the weak market. Most the good stuff is restricted.

I feel like Shattenkirk will be overpaid, and the team that signs him will regret it years from now.

Same with Alzner. He's good but won't be worth the AAV and term he'll end up getting at all

For sure, I can see Marleau in Edmonton, and Thornton with Montreal or the Rangers.

Just heard Dallas is going to buyout Niemi. Do you think he'll get a job as a backup. Personally, I think he's worth the risk of 1 year deal, but there are way better backup options, so I think he'll find himself in a European league for next season.

i'm surprised they're buying out Niemi over Lehtonen. I think Niemi might be a bit better and has a smaller contract.

There buying him out because he has a smaller contract, meaning he's cheaper to buyout. Also Lehtonen is much better than Niemi, have you seen their numbers?

Players with cheaper contracts cost less to buyout.
