How many times does this have to be explained, even on capfriendly of all places. Players, like Muzzin (as long as they can prove that hes hurt enough that he can't play for like the first month of the season which he can't), can be put on LTIR during the summer, plus teams can go over 10% until the season begins. With Muzzin on LTIR and the 10% rule, that puts them at $3 million over the cap. Teams can be about $8.3 million over during the summer.

Will the Sens miss him?? SENS won 11 regular time road games with him on their team out of 15 out of a possible 41, that's 27% win ratio. Sens had 20 regular time home game wins out of 24 out of a possible 41, 48.7%.

Useful player when he's called upon but he's not a top 13 forward on the leafs...a call up to play 4th line minutes at best.

I'm joking... I already know that they are going to put Muzzin on LTIR, trade Murray/buy him out and sign Samsonov...
