That's the thing, though... since Conroy just got hired, he's got long-range job security (minimally 3 years, more like 5 or 6 because Calgary's ownership recognizes the awful hand he's been dealt with Treliving's last 18 months on the job). So I could see him being able to sell it, particularly if Columbus throws in another asset like Jake Bean (and I'm sure his dad would be happy to take him).

Yeah, but the Flames owner is an idiot and wants to always compete now. Plus we have Huby and Kadri signed so they'll want something that helps sooner than later. Ideally before those guys are completely washed up, which may already be the case though lol.

Dude, prior to the draft, Snuggerud was rated between #11-15 overall among all draqfted NHL prospects. That's not me. That's literally every single scouting pundit/ranking. Bolduc was generally ranked between #16-35. And both had risen since those rankings came out. So no, I'm not making them out to be anything except what they are, which is legit A grade prospects. If you don't even know the prospects, not sure how you can determine what is "clearly" what.
