I don't think Buffalo takes that deal

Although the Mathieu Joseph trade is a win win for both teams

That is one I'm not sure of bit of a loss at first but if they go all in at the deadline can stick Poolman on LTIR and go over the cap. And don't have a comrie costing them in the minors. Martin isn't a bad spot starter if need be but overplaying him isn't good. Plus Buffalo's D is much better than ours.

Hawks decline. Some team will give you a pick for Beau, but it won't be the Hawks.

OTT declines. Garland is simply too expensive and the only reason we'd move Joseph is if it was a cap dump.

Chicago declines. Katchouk's play improved quite a bit towards the end of the season so I assume they hang onto him to see if he keeps developing.

It's not bad but I wouldn't do it.

And even if I would, I would not want to downgrade a pick by adding 2.0 AAV

I wouldn't mind trading Joseph straight up for Beauvillier though

No way Canucks would do that though, just because of the term difference

Yeah thought Beau had more term left... so I don't know... maybe if the Sens add Thomson?

Canucks add an OFD RHD in the system, cap goes up next year and Joseph will become more "affordable"

He's a decent 3rd liner, very fast skater and elite on the PK. People are a bit down on him because he leaves you wanting more offensively
