Drury says, what are you smoking and then says not a chance and hangs up. But, credit for one of the most absurd Schneider trades posted yet.

I don't think I'd pay a normal 2nd for Jokiharku, but certainly not a conditional 1st.

You are right in the sense that the Rangers won't want to pay over $20M for 3 RHD, but the more likely scenario is they ship Trouba off somewhere next summer when his NMC becomes a limited NTC

not going to far back into the past but dury traded a 1st, 3rd and 2 prime age players for Tarasenko and a 3rd pair dman.
i would argue that Schneider would not fetch a 1st and 3 other pieces. tho defantaly still a solid player just doesnt have the high offensive skill level.
(i should add that buffalo should just want solid shut down guy to pair with there high skill dmen)

#29, a 3rd, a guy who scored 0 goals in 54 games as a Ranger and a prospect who split the year between the A and the Coast. The conditional 3rd was probably more valuable than the other 2 pieces attached at the time. Anyways, this isn't happening lol. Schneider on his ELC is more important to the Rangers, the solution is moving Trouba next offseason.

You're comparing trades for rentals going into the playoffs to try to win a cup (which most playoff teams do) with trading a 21 year old that is your future top 4 RD....apples and oranges. No chance Drury trades Schneider and definitely not for the nonsense you posted.

In like 6 years after fox and truba are gone? Also this is a mid season rental trade hints the title.

It won't happen just like he won't be on elc next year either. Is the value fairly even tho yes

1. If you think Drury is trading Schneider for a rental, you don't know what you are talking about;
2. Trouba's NMC burns off after 1 more season, so if Schneider is ready to move up to 2nd pair after next season, don't be surprised to see Trouba traded.

This upcoming season he's on his ELC smile. He'll be due for his raise when Trouba's NMC turns into a modified NTC

No the got ya was that Schneider is still on his ELC and the Rangers will find the space... and wouldn't the Sabres know about overpaying underperforming captains? Also your trade stinks, grow up
