Chicago accepts. They just get some players to help that abysmal d-core.

Not sure you’d have to pay Laf that much. Rangers have like no cap space. Obviously they can just make a deal and match, but would be hard on them either way.

the jets don’t have there own second round pick so if they did OS him it would have to be in the 4.2-6.4 range, i think that if it’s only 1 year you go high to make it as difficult as possible for nyr to match

I wouldn’t move heinola to dump Schmidt. Heinola is only 22 and I’m a bit believer personally. I would rather move picks.

Kyle from Chicago has not taken on a contract player for a prospect yet, so who knows. But I don't think another LHD is what Chicago needs. They have a bunch of D prospects that need time in the NHL this season. Adding Schmidt and Heinola seems counter productive to that.

I don’t disagree. Not sure giving up our 24 1st is a good idea though.

Hawks don't accept. Heinola doesn't come close to paying to move that Schmidt contract. Especially w/ the prospect depth the Hawks already have at LD.
