Reilly Smith got moved for a 3rd
Anthony Duclair got moved for a 5th and a 4th liner
Mike Hoffman could be had for free (but bridge is burnt for him in Ottawa)
Last year
Connor Brown was had for a 2nd in 2024
Oliver Bjorkstrand was had for a 3rd + 4th
With this package, you could actually get an impact player. This is COMFORTABLY more than what the Sens got for DeBrincat who came with a 4 years extension at a reasonable AAV

Maybe Konecny if you’re lucky
Joseph is fine but overpaid and he will cost to move. So essentially it’s Branny (3rd pairing dman with moderate upside), Jarventie (B- level prospect), and the worst of two firsts. Honestly the first is the only really enticing thing there, nearly every team has their own Brannstrom and Jarventie (that really hurts to say because I used to LOVE Brannstrom lol)
No, this is just non-knowledge of the pieces involved.
Show me who the Flyers has as their own Brannstrom. Emil Andrae possibly if he develops his defensive game in the NHL as well as Brannstrom did, which is quite rare from an undersized D-man
Also, depending what "B- level prospect" means to you, this might not describe Jarventie at all

If you want a winger with term who will actually move the needle, I think it starts with the first, Grieg OR Ostapchuk OR Kleven, Brannstrom, and something else.
Greig is not available and Dorion will not trade him, which is basically the only thing I can trust Dorion for
However, he did trade Gustavsson for Talbot lol (or Zibanejad for Brassard years ago) so we never know with that time-ticking bomb GM
Trading Tyler Kleven would also be a big mistake. Ostapchuk will be an excellent 3rd line forward but you can afford to trade him
1st
Brannstrom
Sokolov OR Thomson
Joseph (salary going back, serviceable player while you rebuild)
That would be an excellent offer for Konecny, also more than what DeBrincat returned
If the Flyers can get better from someone else, then good for them. Move on to the next target
