Petry at $3.25m is excellent value for a 4th rounder. If he were a UFA this offseason he would be the best one in the class of RD that went to market. He would get $10m/2 easily. Now if Carolina isn't moving Pesce, then obviously they have no need for this deal. But to suggest Petry @50% retained AND a first for future considerations is such profound ignorance.
