Doesn’t work cap wise for the Islanders. Also without an extension Nylander’s value is lower than what ur suggesting imo.

I mean it's one of the more fairer ones that I've seen on here imo. He gets to choose I don't know if he just wants to go to the US but leafs are one of the few contending teams that are still trying to figure out their goaltending situation

No one worth playing for can give Nylander 10 million dollars a year. He only wants that much because Toronto overpaid all their star players on five year contracts. You can’t give out that kind of AAV without way more term.

Hey wants to go to the U.S. But even if he wanted to go to T.O., the return offered above is NOT good.

Samsonov is okay. Not even close / in the realm of Helly.
The 2024 1st round pick (TOR) pick will be too far from the 1st overall to really help.
The rest of the trade is garbage the Leafs don't even want.
