a first, ostlund and UPL *maybe* gets you hellebuyck, since the jets have lots of C prospects already, the rest definitely doesn’t get you ehlers

Would be hard not to be bullish on this lineup. Especially if that blueline mixes well together.

The firsts are nice, but there isn't enough quality there to get both Jets.

Not enough for both Ehlers and Hellebuyck together. Offer needs to be a little better than this.

Helle isn't a good fit

This is more of a steal then Kris Draper for a dollar, jets decline.

I have always liked Ehlers
Tough to say what the Jets think about moving him
Supposedly he was available in the past

Jets fans actually think Hellebuyck- a GOALIE- has HUGE value
But i don’t see it
He’s getting old (31 when his extension will START),
& ONLY has this year left on a deal
Him wanting HUGE $$$
AND
a long term (likely 7-8years) deal
certainly doesn’t help his value

But I’ve seen Jets fans propose crap like:
Quinn + Savoie + a ‘24 1st

And that BS is just laughable

i mean yeah i said it might get the deal done, but swapping out ostlund for someone else would be preferable. i agree buffalo has lots of prospects and they’re probably the best trade partner in the nhl for a hellebuyck trade. however he’s still a vezina calibre goalie and the package to pry him out of winnipeg should be worthwhile in the long run
