Such a mistake, helly might not be the answer, but there’s a rather large need for a 1a or 1b to levi for 3/5 years. Team control and cost certainty and price an issue, but such a large hole. Comrie to winnipeg possibly to get his money off the books and upl to Philly or Anaheim and try to pull hart or Gibson to Join levi. Can bargain hunt any other holes in the roster with the nucleus all ready intact.

There are the fan theories and there is the reality of what the Sabres laid out their plan as being - it seems this uproar on social media from fans about the goaltending and/or defense is a lot of wasted energy and premature frustration. I'm sure that if goaltending proves to be an issue, either during training camp or the 1st month of the season, Adams will shift gears but until that happens, I'm very confident in Levi and the defensive additions (along with the continued experience/development another year will have brought Power, Dahlin and Samuelsson) and somewhat optimistic on UPL or Comrie being the backup.

Avs would consider that FWIW. Probably going to jut hit the FA market to fill out depth but it's a pretty even trade.

No mediocre to poor tending holding them back from taking the next step, both should be upper echelon teams, but having the same gaping hole. Buffalo could be the next tb, but nothing compared to the Russian wall that tb employs, they obviously don’t grow on trees, but mediocre and staying mediocre, has to be tough on the rest of the group.

Real question is what is Carolina doing in net, bringing back the same 3 that repeatedly cant finish a season healthy and expect a different result, some would say a definition in insanity.
