I know, but someone might. Vancouver was just a theoretical landing spot since Petry likely does not want to land on a rebuilding team.

The Sharks didn't have anyone file for arbitration so I don't believe they get a second buyout window. They wouldn't be able to buyout Carter even if he did waive to come here (which he probably wouldn't).
