I get it. Wilson is great. I understand the intangibles and I understand the Caps have said they aren't trading him. HOWEVER, as a Caps fan I'd do this in a heartbeat. I'm one of the few, but scoring is an absolute necessity in this modern league. Timmons isn't a bad piece either. 😉

There’s no need for Timmins. We have 3 RHD locked up for the next three season, then Chesley and Iorio are on their way up in the next year or two anyway. The caps do not have the cap space to add Nylander right now. Sign him in UFA when the leafs lose him for nothing next summer. Wilson will be a cap for his entire career. There’s no need to throw that away.
