This improves Pittsburgh's cap situation some. Their roster depth isn't much better. Murphy is no upgrade on Petry and Dickinson is a fine depth forward but nothing special with his cap hit. I like Tatar on that contract, but not worth all the assets to make this happen.

Hawks easily decline. Granny and Petry take at least that 1st just to dump. Probably one of the two prospects as well. Even if it's just the pick, Hawks don't trade Murph and Dickinson for POJ and Blomqvist anyway.
