I mean, it's a lot to give up from Columbus, so maybe a slight reduction is needed, but this would be huge for them. If Columbus were to get Lindholm, they'd instantly become a playoff contender. Also works perfectly, because Lindholm could start out as the 1C and then slide to 2C as Fantilli develops. I'd definitely offer less, but Lindholm is a perfect trade target for Cbj

If the 1st rounder is top 10 protected, it's not a bad deal really. Jackets trading from areas of surplus (wingers/RD), it'd probably come down to which of Boqvist or Peeke that Babs/Jarmo prefer to keep. Whichever they're lower on gets included.

Or a lower prospect/ player than Chinakhov might make it more manageable

Make it Sillinger instead of Roslovic and Calgary will consider it IF Lindholm decides not to extend in Calgary.

Lindholm is great and all, but the package may be a bit much to offer for him. The reports are the flames offered him 9 million a season and he hasn't signed. Granted tax implications and where a player may want to play could make him sign for less....but Columbus isn't a hotbed destination in the NHL.
