This is a mess. Liljegren is worth a lot more than a 4th. And Vatrano just isn't needed at all.

Ducks have zero interest in that return and have no reason to trade Vatrano. Decline

Vatrano was the Ducks best winger outside of Terry. What makes you think Anaheim will move him for this?

I hope they do. They have the cap, the stage, and the ability to make it happen. I don't think any other team outside of Toronto can make him a more appealing offer unless another team drastically makes deals to open up the cap space.

Chicago has to be the top team to land Matthews.

Giving away Lilijegren is just awful for the Leafs. 20 man roster ridiculous.
I'll agree Matthews should not be paid 14m.... Where does rank among NHL forwards in PLAYING value. Third? Fifth?
