He's from the Toronto area his family still lives here, He spends his summers here ( I know because I have seen him on the ice twice this summer)

Most players top 10 list include Edmonton, Winnipeg, Arizona, Buffalo, NY Islanders in the past Florida Carolina were also popular

There are a lot of reasons other than nationality for a team to be on a players no trade kist.

I could see Montreal and WPG being on it just given his past, but you don't often see Canadian players not wanting to play in Canada. I wouldn't assume (as this person noted in their post) that he has all 7 Canadian teams on his list.

Chiarot is from Hamilton and its about 90 minutes from Buffalo and Toronto and Detroit is twice as far. So I'd assume Toronto could be high up on the list of places he'd like to play. When do players have to submit their lists? Is it when the team is looking to trade him or is it at the start of the season?

I'm not 100% I think its different for each player. I think some can be at the start of the contract and others are season to season, I think they need to be submitted by July 1st.
