Belliveau is interesting. But CHI really doesn't need to add more LHD. Even just considering the value of the trade, I don't feel like this would cover the cost of dumping Petry AND acquiring Murphy.

Nahhh just keep Petry.
Buyout Granlund and use that cap space to sign Tatar and maybe even Suter. Then maybe sign some cheap players like Foote and Merkley who could battle for depth spots.

honestly this is an overpay by pit. petry is the better player here.

Hawks easily decline. They're not interested in a Murphy/Petry swap.

Cost to dump petry is a first. Cost to acquire Murphy is a late first. This package is insufficient. Hawks decline rather easily
