Do that Sissons deal in a heartbeat for the Canucks. Not so sure about Smashville. Maybe add in Rathbone?

But don't know if Smashville have the centre depth to trade!?

I don’t think you’d be able to trade Jack Rathbone for even a bag of pucks

They have centre depth and they need a winger. I wouldn't be opposed to adding a small sweetener like Rathbone.

I'm sure we could get two...

NSH doesn't have the center depth to trade Sissons unless Svechkov has a killer camp and makes starting lineup out the gate. Doubtful that will happen.

The other thing is NSH isn't really interested in Beau. NSH has plenty of middle-six forwards now, and they would rather bring people up the pipeline of wingers they have (L'Heureux, Kemell, and Afanasyev just to name a few) than bring in another one

You would still have O'Reilly Novak Glass?

Beau would be an upgrade on your wingers now, if you aren't trying to win now it would be better to let the younger players develop, but idk what your GM is trying to do.

Trotz is on record saying ROR was there more for leadership and mentorship than anything. They are aiming to take a step back. ROR is a better mentor for Novak, Glass, and Parssinen than Johansen or Duchene. Evangalista is likely making the roster as well as Tomasino, and I'd rather play both of them over Beau. NSH will likely look like

Forsberg - ROR- Tomasino
Nyquist - Novak - Evangalista
Parssinen - Glass - Gurianov
Trenin - Sissons - Smith

Beau is an upgrade to Gurianov, and I'm not exactly interested in forcing Parssinen into 4th line minutes, stifling his development, to get an upgrade on the 3rd line.

Is Sissons available for futures, or is he off the table?

You forget that Pärssinen is a center, they have 4 already in Him, ROR, Glass and Novak without counting Sissons. Don’t think he will come cheap though and I doubt Trotz wants Beauvillier back. Aatu Räty is the one I would ask for if I was Smashville

Personally, I wouldn't be opposed to futures, but i feel they would want it more as a deadline deal. That said, I don't think they would

I'm not unaware of Parssinen being a center. I personally think that Novak should be the one to move to wing, but the consensus among NSH fans is that Parssinen will be the one to move over. NSH's center situation does not look great, even with 4 people who can play center without Sissons. Just because they have it, doesn't mean that would be ideal. So the question comes down too, why give up something you are weak at, making it weaker in the process, for something that is more of an unnecessary luxury? Just doesn't make a lot of sense.

On top of this, it wouldn't line up with a recent interview with Trotz saying he has intentionally left gaps on the team in order to weaponize cap space.

Hawks decline. They're stacked with young LD and not trading draft capital for a guy they don't need.
