Not Columbus. Too many RD already, not enough centers to trade one, and a poor use of Boqvist as an asset.

No interest or cap space for Allen. TB is good at RD. This is hideous for TB.

yes it's a 15 team NTC, he cannot be dumped and he's looking for something close to Michigan.

Myers accounts for $250,000 while buried
      Fleury accounts for $762,500

      added that's $1,012,500

      Allen is $1,925,000
      Kovacevic is $766,667
      added that's $2,691,667

      it only really adds
      $1,679,167

For upgrading a d-man, and adding a backup who played more than 3 games last year and can give Vasy 10-15 games more rest than other backups. Granted, I made the trade in mind that it was Myers full contract, but I'll easily add a Bogosian $800k or Glendening $800k.

Removing Myers and adding Bogosian would make it $550k less, so
      $1,129,167
      instead of
      $1,679,167

But I get it. I do have to say that this next two years is gonna be tough to keep that aging core and keep Hagel around.

Why would TB? if they did this it forces them to go with 21 man roster and Kovacevic is either in Syracuse or healthy scratched regularly. The right side normally will be Cernak Perbix and Raddysh. The left side is obviously Hedman Sergachev the third most likely is Dehaan. So this really doesn't make sense. Btw yes Raddysh and Perbix would both start over Kovacevic.
Julien Brisebois on Darren Raddysh during his end of season interview on Lightning TV's "The Block Party" Darren has worked extremely hard and done everything we've asked him and improved dramatically. His 25:13 TOI during the playoffs 2nd only to Sergachev tells me the coaching staff agrees with that assessment.

Tampa Bay's roster is set on the blue line. If they can upgrade the backup G for $1m or less, they might do that. Any remaining cap space they have will be used on a F who can play in their middle 6.

For that $1M goalie spot, UPL, Martin, Delia are probably the best fits.

Not sure any of them are an improvement from Johanson but yeah that's the idea. I can see Tampa rolling w/ Vasy and Johanson and calling up Algefelt from the AHL if Johanson is bad.

It's a tough situation rn. Window is getting smaller, but Vasy just had the most rest he's ever really had, so that could look great as the really last year before possible rebuild.
